Statistics: Russia’s inflation slows down to 0.09% Aug 15–Monday

MOSCOW, Aug 23 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumer price inflation decelerated to 0.09% from August 15 through Monday as compared with 0.1% a week earlier, and reached 3.62% since January 1, the Federal State Statistics Service said on Wednesday.

Fruit and vegetables prices decreased by 3.1% on average.

Prices for frozen fish, milk and cheese decreased 0.2%. Pork and chicken meat prices rose 1.4%, sunflower seed oil ones 1%, sausage ones 0.7%.

Gasoline prices rose by 0.6% and diesel fuel prices by 1.3%.
